Everybody Loves Lucy

Déjà vu strikes early as the image fades in on the familiar black-and-white apartment and a heavily made-up Audrey Hollander wakes to discover a new tattoo on her hip. Ricky has a big day planned, first an English lesson then "da big show" tonight — and he doesn't want Lucy to come to the club.

Ricky's the only student at the English class, and when Ricki White asks, "Do you want to touch me?" he repeats it as the laugh track chortles. He does catch on when she drops her top. At a restaurant, Lucy has a moment of the alien abduction where she got the tattoo from two aliens — and also a DP, double-vag, double-anal and double-facial. She finishes off her meal with waitress Dylan Ryder for dessert.

Of course Lucy sneaks into the club, and finds to her surprise that it's a swing club and they are expected to perform with Ricky.

The sitcom-lite plots are deftly handled, and director Jerome Tanner daringly keeps the whole show in black and white, although there is also a color version on the second disc. Veteran actor Frank Bukwydd shines in the comedy relief part of curmudgeonly Fred.
