To Protect and To Serve
When I think of phallic symbols in lesbian movies, I tend to think of dildos and vibes. But guns work too, as Girlfriends Films proves in its spoof of the buddy detective genre, “To Protect and to Serve.” At least it looks hot when Lux Kassidy holds a gun to Zoe Voss’ head — I guess she had been an exceptionally bad girl; of course, there’s very little Lux’s flawless body couldn’t make look sexy.

Typical of Girlfriends Films, there’s more time spent developing a plot than in most adult movies. Tyler Knight does an excellent job as the Lieutenant (clearly a non-sex role) who oversees the special police unit formed by Julia Ann and Lux. There’s even a nicely played tease where you think Lux and Hayden Night are going to hook up, but nooo, Hayden has her heart set on the lovely Andy San Dimas.

They also take their time with the sex (another hallmark of Girlfriends Films), with lots of kissing and foreplay and even cuddling. That’s not to suggest that the sex is tame by any means. Celeste Star and Lily LaBeau turn in an especially enthusiastic round of make-up sex that gets extremely physical.

Synopsis:

Follow the cops of the Thornhill Police Department as they patrol the mean streets and soft sheets for perps. Enforcing the law has never been so sexy.
