The only real thing that hurts this film is the poor film stock. Fuckfest looks like something that stepped out of the early 90's, ready and raring to go. In this day of cheap digital encoding, I don't understand why all movies aren't using more of it.
Of course, this has very little real impact on how hot or not the sex is. And I can say that the sex is, indeed, quite hot (I almost sounded a bit British there myself).
None of the women in Fuckfest have the exaggerated superheroine bodies that tend to grace most porn actresses, and I found this refreshingly sexy and arousing. There's something about an all-natural woman that makes the fantasy seem all the more attainable and real.
And the setups only heighten the realism: They generally involve the lovely British hotties fucking the brains out of some really schlumpy guys. For example, Alicia Rhodes is awakened by her goofy lover's soft sexual touches, and it's all realistic, believable and well-shot.
It goes to prove that there can be sexiness and eroticism in the most normal of situations.
All in all, I may have had my gripes, but the great sex trumped the lack of suitable technology on this particular title -- though be warned, filmmakers: I may not go so easy on you next time.
