I did, however, come away from the experience with a headache the likes of which I haven't experienced since viewing The Blair Witch Project many years ago.
This massive headache, sadly, wasn't due to downing significant amounts of alcohol to get into a college mood (indeed, that would come later) but thanks to the spasmatic director of photography, who felt the need to whip the camera around at everything and everyone as if he were a gazelle on crack.
The frenzied camera whips around from the people in the crowd to the floor to the ceiling, and occassionally, even to the sex that happens to be taking place ... all in a span of seconds. Can you say seizure?
There's plenty to enjoy, though, for those not prone to motion sickness (although it's buried amidst a lot of drunken yelling).
Whether scripted or not, it really feels like we are witnessing a legit college party. The guys border on the average when it comes to looks (exactly what you'd expect). The ladies, whom I imagine were shipped in for the shoot, are sexy and energetic.
It's worth a look for the fun environment and the energetic sex, although I would have preferred a stationary camera.
