S.I.N. Sweet, Innocent & Nasty

S.I.N. Sweet, Innocent & Nasty
I'm beginning to notice a trend in Martin Del Toro productions. He has this thing for disrespecting the ladies every chance he gets. He constantly refers to them in derogatory terms, forces them to suck on dildos while trying to answer interview questions, etc. In this film's case it's even during the off-camera, behind the scenes stuff.

Initially, I thought it was a humorous act until it became readily apparent that no one was enjoying this stuff as much as Del Toro was. You can dismiss this clear disdain as "acting," but in the behind the scenes feature you can tell that the performers would much rather be somewhere else, being treated a lot better.

S.I.N.'s definitely a mixture of sweet, innocent, and nasty, though, and the ladies are absolutely adorable. Their performances are mainly those of naive wannabes duped into thinking that they're being courted as models by real photographers, and are definitely believable. The entire premise sells itself well.

It's not until the sex starts that Del Toro begins fully expressing his disdain for the women. He clearly doesn't seem to think very highly of them -- on or off camera. This seriously detracts merit from a film that has both good sex and quality production values.
