Fucked at Home

This film has an interesting premise ("watch pornstars have unscripted sex in their own homes!!!"), but the execution is pretty much exactly like every other adult film you've seen. The only way you'd ever know the premise is if you took the time to read the box .... and who, other than reviewers, does that?

There are a few things that could have have been done to better sell the premise and ultimately fulfill the inner voyuer in all of us:

First, there should have been some sort of setup explaining that this was a look at the world behind the world of adult films. It would have made a big difference.

Next, they could have added grain to the image quality to give it a "home video" feel. When a movie's unintentionally grainy I'll bitch, but in this instance it would have helped things out.

And finally, as much as we'd like to think our favorite adult stars are as wild and crazy at home as they are on set, the sex in this film is confined mainly to ... couches. Yawn.

The DVD is by no means bad. You've got yourself a good cast (particularly standouts like Crissy Cums and Taylor Rain, both dark haired and yielding delicious, curvy hips) and decent extras.

I guess I'm spoiled by other adult films that take their premises seriously. It's a shame when you don't get what you expect.
