Overall, I like his films though they tend to lean more towards the rough and raw end of the spectrum. This is weird, because when he's interviewing the ladies behind the scenes, he's charming and respectful, joking around and teasing them. But his actual films are infinitely more ... hardcore. I'm talking hardcore hardcore: he calls the women names, he taunts them, he puts dildos in their mouths as they try to speak ... it's an odd shift in tone, to say the least; almost unnecessarily so.
Hardcore D.P. 2 has excellent camerawork, clear visuals and a sexy cast (Sammy Cruz has got to be one of the sexiest things in porn, and Arianna Nicole is right behind her with her amazing bust and curved bottom). I had no problems there.
My enjoyment of the film was simply hampered by my inability to understand why the performers have to be treated so poorly for guys to get off. I'm not suggesting that every adult film should have flowers and candy rainbows and people skipping while holding hands, don't get me wrong; but I think that women should at least be treated like they're members of the same species. Is that so wrong?
(Of course, I should have known better with a title like Hardcore D.P. 2. )
