Sensory Overload

Sensory Overload
Sensory Overload presents the tale of Vinnie, a guy who laments everyone and everything around him. From the gloomy, persistent gray sky outside his window to the buddy he no longer thinks is on the same wavelength he is, nothing in the world pleases him anymore.

His pal introduces him to the Sensory Depravation Clinic, an institution that specializes in offering sensory input to those that feel the desperate need to, well, feel.

Vinnie, of course, is the perfect candidate, although he's reluctant at first to give in to what he calls "self help crap." He finds himself thrust into a series of "treatments" designed to stimulate Sight, Smell, Sound, Taste and Touch (eventually leading the way to Revelation).

These experiences are all, of course, represented through sexual scenarios. For Sight, Vinnie is forced to watch a couple engaging in sexual intercourse but is forbidden to participate (he's kept from doing so by an electrical charge that knocks him to the ground). Eventually he's allowed to indulge in the fun, and the lesson learned in all of this is: Getting laid makes you a much happier person.

I cannot agree more wholeheartedly.

This was one of the most refreshing and enjoyable adult films I've watched as of late, and it managed to avoid the "more of the same" syndrome a lot of them have nowadays. It's unique, interesting and the sex is excellent (ranging from guy-girl to girl-girl to threesomes). The performances are solid, and the character of Vinnie is easily relatable for anyone who has ever had "one of those days." Thoroughly enjoyable.
