Insexts

Philip Mond's Insexts might satisfy fans of good, old-fashioned Eurotrash adult movies. Remember staying up late to watch a hot movie with boobies on Skinemax? Mond's kooky movie recalls those heady days in a bunch of scenes that range from poorly dubbed exposition to outright insanity that somehow has two stars having sex with bicycles while wearing fluorescent insect costumes. (The bicycle in question has seats shaped like dildos, in case you're wondering.)

OK, I'm being hard on what is a very cool movie. Mond fills the screen with nothing but crazily beautiful women and Greek-god-looking guys. I'm not sure what to make of the insect costumes or the uniform green backdrop that occupies the middle third of the movie -- is it supposed to look like grass? -- but I admire the effort as much as I admire the bright, Technicolor imagery. Plus, it's almost three hours long, with more than a dozen scenes.
