Q&A: AstroDomina Masters Her Dominatrix, Fetish Producer Career

Q&A: AstroDomina Masters Her Dominatrix, Fetish Producer Career

Dominatrix AstroDomina is a deliciously dangerous, badass-yet-bubbly fetish producer, dominating the clips game with her unique style.

After starting out in the biz as a cam girl, she evolved her multi-faceted approach to revenue streams with fiery finesse, rising high on the submission of her rabidly randy fandom.

Ass worship. Ball busting. Bondage. Facesitting. Femdom. Findom. Futanari. Foot fetish. Giantess. JOI. SPH. Taboo. Vore. Unbirthing. Transformation Fantasies. She does it all, with class, sass and ass!

So, strap yourself in and bite into that ball gag, because AstroDomina is ready to make your dreams (and naughty nightmares) come true, as our Clip Star of the Month.

XBIZ: What inspired you to join the adult industry?

Domina: I didn’t plan on going balls-deep into the adult industry. In fact, it was my very strong passion to work from home that led me to it! I made it my life goal to find a job that I can do from the comfort of my own home. So I found a “cam girl” opportunity on Craigslist and the rest was history!

XBIZ: How would you describe the “AstroDomina” brand, as far as personality and style?

Domina:  AstroDomina is an Asian Dominatrix. I would describe her as the congenial dom, your next-door kinkster, the Asian fetish producer. She is approachable but gritty. She’s vanilla and kinky (Neapolitan). She’s crazy fun, but knows when it’s time to stop fucking around to get down to business. But on top of it all, she wants everyone to know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with being kinky.

XBIZ: Tell us about your preferred platform(s) for selling clips content.

Domina: My preferred platform is Clips4Sale, as they have the fetish video market down to a science. The daily targeted traffic alone on C4S makes them the leading fetish clip store in the world, and it seems that they have a grasp of the fetish niche market.

XBIZ: What are your favorite fetishes to explore in clips?

Domina: Some of my favorite fetishes to explore are giantess, unbirthing, strap-on, futanari and transformation fantasies. They are quite taboo, challenging to make and it enters the realm of sci-fi/fantasy. A lot of times, it requires great acting, good special effects and great editing to pull off some of these fetishes, which is why I like exploring them. I am challenged as a fetish performer, as an editor and overall, as an artist.

XBIZ: How do you navigate issues of consent, content trade agreements and casting when producing clips with other performers?

Domina: I rarely come across issues with consent as long as all parties involved are abiding by the rules. I also do not do content trade with performers I have never met or who don’t have a good reputation in the industry. The adult industry is a small world and word goes around very quickly.

XBIZ: Given your diverse array of clips — some of which feature special effects and storylines, while others focus on amateur-style POV — which ones seem to be most popular among your fans?

Domina: The videos that feature my ass seem to be the most popular to all my fans, hands down. And it could be any category; as long as I put my ass in there somewhere, my followers/fans/admirers seem to love it! I believe that being a bootyful Asian is a taboo on its own so when people find me, they are captivated by the ass but my personality is what makes them stay. And I think the femdom aspect of my videos is also quite popular with my fans.

XBIZ: Discuss your approach to marketing your content, via social media posts, carefully phrased search-friendly keywords on platforms and industry collaborations.

Domina: I market my content by coming up with hand-picked, search-friendly, no-brainer keywords on different platforms that make my content easy to find for any user. Working with other well-known fetish producers and mainstream actors has helped solidify my brand. I am quite prolific on the interwebz, so you’ll find my content on popular sites like Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. All my posts are business-related, so I make sure that every photo and every video is fresh and well-curated.

XBIZ: Where do you find creative inspiration, be it within the biz or in mainstream?

Domina: I find myself writing down awesome video ideas while I’m having a sit-down in the bathroom. As for inspiration, traveling fuels my creative tank. There are a few fetish producers I follow that are highly imaginative and they challenge me to do better and whip up inspirational videos.

XBIZ: What revenue streams do you pursue in addition to clips?

Domina: Selling AstroDomina-worn products, offering online services such as cam/phone sessions and bespoke videos, and lastly, selling real-time experiences to my fans, add to my revenue stream. I am currently working on my website and as soon as that is up, the entire world better get ready for it!

XBIZ: Any ambitious plans for the rest of 2019 and beyond?

Domina: I have a couple of things that I am currently working on! First, I plan on getting my social work degree in Washington so I can become a licensed kink therapist. There's nothing more satisfying to me than helping my fellow kinksters manage their fetishes. I would also like to visit every single country in the world before 2025. It's a bit ambitious considering how busy I am but hey, gotta have goals in life! And lastly, I am looking to freeze my eggs in case I'd like to have a clone of myself in the future.
