What started as a private experiment between two curious lovers has grown into one of the most-watched creator catalogs on Pornhub. Today, with more than a billion views and counting, Jak Knife ranks among the top 20 performers on the site. It’s a milestone he reached not through overnight virality or manufactured hype, but through consistency, collaboration — and a willingness to make it weird.
When Knife and fiancee Elly Clutch moved to Southern California in early 2021, seeking a change of scenery, adult content was not yet a fully formed career plan for either.
I like to see what the fans are enjoying most and build onto it, while incorporating my own interests and influences. I also always consider what my co-stars are looking for. All my videos are collaborations, so it’s super important they are getting equal benefit and satisfaction with the content.
“Elly was streaming on Twitch around then and was looking for more ways to supplement her income,” Knife explains. “At that point, we had thrown around the idea and even dabbled in doing adult content. Early on in our relationship, we shot a bunch of faceless sex tapes and uploaded them to Pornhub. We had no plan to monetize them. We were just doing it for the love of the game.”
Eventually, however, curiosity gave way to possibility.
“We decided to turn our little hobby into a side hustle, not knowing it would become our full-time passion and job,” Knife says. “In addition to the content I was doing with Elly, I started slowly building a name for myself. A couple of steps later, Jak Knife was born.”

Turning Point
Knife singles out two events as defining moments in his career.
“About two years into making adult content, before I even used the name Jak Knife or showed my face, Elly and I filmed a couple of videos specifically for Pornhub,” he recalls. “We tried a style that was new to us, which incorporated role-play.
The couple figured the videos might gain some traction. They were not expecting them to become, in just a few months, some of the site’s most watched videos of the year.
“It felt like overnight our careers were cemented,” Knife marvels.
That quick success gave him the confidence boost he needed to step forward under his own name and brand. Then came the second major milestone.
“One of my first videos, with Dana DeArmond, went viral across a bunch of adult platforms,” Knife says. “That really kick-started my solo career.”
‘A lot of people have seen me naked’
Knife recently garnered a 2026 XMAs nomination for Male Creator of the Year — a meaningful nod to his work and the momentum behind it.
“A nomination like that is very validating,” he admits. “I’ve put so much work into my content over the last couple years. It’s very satisfying to see it recognized.”
When it comes to a billion views on Pornhub, however, even Knife himself finds that figure a bit hard to conceptualize.
“Pretty nuts,” he says plainly. “It’s hard for me to wrap my head around it. A lot of people have seen me naked! But ultimately it motivates me to keep making content people want to watch.”
And how exactly does he decide what to shoot next?
“I like to see what the fans are enjoying most and build upon it, while incorporating my own interests and influences,” Knife says. “I also always consider what my co-stars are looking for. All my videos are collaborations, so it’s super important they are getting equal benefit and satisfaction with the content.”
The Couple That Plays Together
That collaborative approach is especially evident in the work he creates alongside Clutch. Their partnership dynamic infuses their content together with a mix of trust, playfulness and creative freedom that can’t be staged — and that passion is evident on-screen.
“We have such creative and sexual chemistry,” he muses. “It’s culminated in some of my favorite scenes.”
Among his favorite projects thus far, Knife says, two stand out in particular.
“It’s a close tie between ‘Sound Bath’ with Elly and Evelyn Claire, or ‘Interdimensional Orgasmic Travel’ with Elly and Susie Stellar,” he says. “They’re as crazy as they sound!”
Navigating the adult industry alongside his longtime love has been grounding and empowering, Knife says. Working in parallel — sometimes together, sometimes independently — has brought him and Clutch closer, anchoring their partnership in mutual respect as much as chemistry, thanks to a shared understanding of the business’s creative highs and pressures.
“We were together for years before really getting into the industry, so we had a solid foundation when we started,” Knife shares. “We have great communication, which is definitely key. We are each other’s No. 1 supporters.”

Unusual Pets and Boss Battles
When he finds time to step away from shooting, Knife considers himself a “hobby guy.” Over time, he’s channeled his energy into a wide range of interests.
“The ones that have stood the test of time are skiing, surfing, video games, music and raising animals,” Knife says.
One unusual passion, he reveals, began with a chance encounter.
“The most interesting thing to me right now is raising bold jumping spiders,” Knife says. “I caught one in my house two years ago, and a few months later she had a bunch of spiderlings, which I have successfully raised. Some I’ve kept, some I’ve released, some I’ve given to friends. Since then, Mama Spider passed on — but her lineage lives on.”
Gaming, meanwhile, remains one of his favorite ways to unwind.
“Right now, I’m playing a lot of old-school Runescape,” he notes. “It’s chill and nostalgic, a perfect game to cozy up with and play in the winter. I also enjoy FromSoftware games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring when I want more of a solo challenge.”
As it turns out, even relaxing hobbies sometimes end up with high stakes.
“I recently played in a $100,000 tournament put on by Kick for the game Rust,” Knife enthuses. “I have thousands of hours in that game; it’s easily my most played game ever.”
Branching Out
Alongside that “play hard” ethos is no shortage of “work hard.” Knife has released two original scenes each week for more than two years. A pace like that necessitates some serious discipline, and at least as much planning as passion.
“Staying organized really helps ease the entire process,” he attests. “Keeping a calendar, collecting paperwork, file managing, training a good team and so on. Once I got all that locked in, it saved me so much time and stress, so I can focus on other stuff and not burn out.”
Looking ahead, Knife has no intention of slowing down — but he is interested in expanding. While continuing to build his catalog, he’s preparing to explore new creative territory outside the adult space, including SFW projects that offer a different lens into his personality and imagination.
He’s not ready to give up too many details about his next move just yet, however.
“It’s a secret for now,” he teases. “But keep an eye out for Jak Knife on YouTube!”
