Lawley started by discussing the pricing of .XXX as compared to other sTLDS and described how .XXX will benefit the adult industry by invoking various security measures and other initiatives.

“The whole idea is that the .XXX name comes with significant other benefits that .com doesn’t have,” Lawley said, adding that ICM is committed to protecting the adult industry around the globe.

During the hour-long debate, Both Lawley and Duke butted heads over numerous issues, including the sunrise periods.

“We’re going the extra mile for webmasters to stake their claim,” Lawley said. “To make sure people can have first dibs on these names.”

The panel took questions from various audience members as the heated discussion came to a close.

The inaugural XBIZ EU international digital media conference was a resounding success, with many top industry execs praising organizers for large turnouts to its seminars and events.
