Q&A: Goddess Lilith Rules as Best Fetish Cam Model

Q&A: Goddess Lilith Rules as Best Fetish Cam Model

Veteran streamer Goddess Lilith relishes her villainous brand of heavy metal goth girl, riding high as an international fetish creator after being crowned Best Fetish Cam Model at the 2022 XBIZ Cam Awards.

“I’ve always been really comfortable with my body and enjoyed creating art of all kinds, especially by way of expression with my body,” Lilith reflects, as she harkens back to her origins. “I've been very comfortable performing and being the center of attention since I fronted metal bands in my early high school days. I’ve also been kinky for as long as I can remember, so it all progressed very naturally once I started modeling as a fun hobby.”

My brand is me - a brutal, badass, ball-kicking, night-mare-inducing, banshee-screaming hypnotic Evil Queen. That's who I've always been, and it's who i always will be!

When she turned 18, Lilith recalls, webcams were a new and exciting technology that was just starting to hit the market. After stumbling on an article on the subject, she became very intrigued by the idea of people across the globe watching her.

So, channeling her inner exhibitionist and ensnaring would-be voyeurs in her seductive web, she left her cam on 24/7 and let it capture her “sitting at my desk, dressing up in my kinky fetish wear, eating, fucking and even sleeping.” There was no sound or streaming movement in those early days, just a still image that refreshed a few times per minute.

“I’m proud to say I am among the internet’s very first cam girls,” Lilith beams. “I even operated one of the first 24/7 voyeur cam houses! I’ve always truly loved living my life on cam.”

Now, with a global fan base of adoring worshippers who come to pay homage to the self-described “professional mean girl” and “Evil Queen,” Lilith shows no signs of slowing down as she scales newfound heights in her career. And while she may not stick to a prescribed camming schedule, especially since she frequently tours with her metal band Sorrowseed, Lilith still delights in bringing her audience’s dreams — and nightmares — to life online. As XBIZ Cam Star of the Month, she opens up about her inner diabolical workings, personal kinks and business ambitions in this exclusive interview.

XBIZ: Discuss the biggest ways you've grown, personally and professionally, since entering the biz.

Lilith: I’d like to think I’ve matured a lot in the past couple of decades. But, I also try to be a sponge when learning new things about the industry from my peers or awesome industry-only events like XBIZ, my favorite industry event.

I definitely have a lot more patience with people and situations than I used to and I’m able to put myself in other peoples’ shoes easier than before.

Setting an excellent example for other humans, as well as being inspirational to and of service as a mentor for those just starting in the industry, are things that have become really important to me as time goes on and as I’ve progressed into “veteran” territory as a performer and creator.

I’ve also become a lot more spiritual in recent years and have developed a daily ritual magick practice, which has tremendously helped my well-being in several ways.

XBIZ: How do you approach camming as far as scheduling, chatroom dynamics and token goals?

Lilith: I’m notoriously bad about adhering to a strict schedule, which is a cardinal sin for any livestreamer. I’m constantly touring with my metal band and for events in all kinds of time zones and countries, so it’s truly impossible — aside from when we were in lockdown a while ago — for me to do so.

I’ve got too much incredible real-world bad-assery going on! I have a loose schedule that I try to follow as much as possible. My fans know where and how to find me, know how demanding my tour schedule is and enjoy any precious time they spend with me.

Regarding chatroom dynamics, I’m always my sarcastic, sardonic self and my fans live for it. I have a couple of admins who don’t put up with the slightest hint of disrespectfulness or time-wasting, and I’m pretty heavy on the ban hammer. I don’t put up with any shit. Token goals are fun, but I don’t always feel like performing for people, so I don’t frequently structure my streams around that.

I’ve found that I have more fun and make more money when I’m actually putting in less effort. It still seems incredibly backward to me, but for me, it works. My fans worship me as I am, without any fancy wardrobe or even makeup.

XBIZ: What other revenue streams do you pursue and how do you balance your time/energy?

Lilith: You name it; if it’s something relating to the adult industry, I probably do it. Aside from all those things, I also have SFW income via my music, stocks, tarot card readings, SFW livestreams and my talent agency for SFW livestreaming platforms, which I am always casting talent for!

Balancing is challenging. It helps tremendously that I don’t have or plan on having children. I try to ensure I leave enough time to sleep, eat and engage in meditation and self-care whenever possible. I also take extravagant vacations — real vacations, not “workcations,” which I do plenty of — several times per year.

XBIZ: Which platforms are you most active on and what do your fans most often request?

Lilith: I’m most active on Loyalfans. It really has everything I need to stay close and connected with my devotees. I’m also on a couple of my SFW livestreaming platforms almost daily. With the extent to which I travel, I often have to go live and connect with my most devout followers from public places or while commuting, where streaming from adult sites is not an option.

XBIZ: Discuss how your fetish content and streams have evolved over time.

Lilith: My tastes and interests in different fetishes have definitely grown over time! It was relatively tame when I started my journey, other than my intense love for public humiliation scenarios. But as I learned more about the lifestyle and connected with others, I discovered all kinds of deliciously deviant ways of playing that I never even knew I would be into. I dare say I’m into more fetishes than not at this point!

My streams are and have always been a very clear reflection of who I am, so for the most part, that has very much stayed the same. I’ve never gotten into a character or portrayed someone I’m not. I’ve always just been unabashedly myself, and the more I talk and learn with some of my peers, the more I realize how uncommon this actually is.

XBIZ: What would you say the biggest opportunities and challenges are for a creator who specializes in the fetish market?

Lilith: Making yourself stand out is definitely a huge challenge these days. Unfortunately, due to the popularization of fetish content, particularly femdom and findom, from having a spotlight shone on it through so many intensely mainstream avenues, the fetish market has become incredibly over-saturated in recent years. When I started, the fetish genre — in particular things like heavy BDSM — was highly niche, not particularly sought after and most performers weren’t offering much of it.

Now, almost every performer does, and every day more and more people are making a Twitter account and proclaiming themselves a Dom/Domme. Before, these titles had to be earned through time, research and experience; it’s quite frustrating to see the way things have shifted. On the flip side, now that the fetish genre has become so mainstream, more customers are looking for it. There are also a lot of teachers and mentors like me to learn from, whereas before, it was all very taboo and challenging to learn about. So, there are pros and cons to the situation.

XBIZ: Describe your overall brand, aesthetic and vibes. Also, have they remained relatively consistent or changed in any significant ways?

Lilith: My brand is me — a brutal, badass, ball-kicking, nightmare-inducing, banshee-screaming hypnotic Evil Queen. That’s who I’ve always been, and it’s who I always will be! Physically, I’ve always been a shapeshifter and can’t stay with any specific look forever. But I’ll forever be a goth girl at heart no matter what colors, material or style I’m wearing — whether it’s sleek, sexy latex, avant-garde villainess costuming, corsets and huge stompy boots, a fleece onesie, synthetic dreads that I’ve made myself, a giant pink ball gown with a tiara, a pair of sweatpants and an oversized hoodie or a sports bra and workout shorts. I’m worshiped in all of my many forms.

XBIZ: What was it like winning Best Fetish Cam Model at the 2022 XBIZ Cam Awards?

Lilith: I can’t fully describe how amazing it was — I was so happy that I found myself running up to the stage in excitement when they called me! It was so incredible to receive such a high level of recognition after all these years. I’ve been lusting after a coveted XBIZ Award for what feels like forever. It signifies reaching the top, and I will forever feel this accomplishment. XBIZ truly is my favorite event, and I feel so honored to be seen by you. I can’t describe how much it means to me. I feel like I’m part of the XBIZ family now, and I’m so full of love. This award will always be incredibly special to me and will remain my favorite of all my accolades. I'm still on cloud nine! Thank you again!

XBIZ: Any big plans for this upcoming year in terms of your career or other aspirations?

Lilith: European tour dates with my band, Sorrowseed! I’ve also got some other music projects, exciting collaborations and releases in the works, as well as a lot of travel and events for the rest of the year.

I’m also planning on finishing my second industry-related e-book, which will focus on how to run a fan club successfully. This will be a follow-up to my award-winning first written release, “How I Make Bank as a Foot Model.”

I’m forever grateful for all the fantastic experiences working in the industry has given me, and I can’t wait for more!
