Colossal Launches Online Store

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Colossal Entertainment has launched a web store to sell its line of gonzo and wall-to-wall DVDs, including next month’s western-themed “Fuckaroos.”

Colossal spokesman Wayne Hentai told XBiz that Colossal’s online store site has been operational for a week. “Sales have been brisk and have met expectations," he said.

The year-old North Hollywood company is owned by Sheldon Baer, who also owns several studios used for filming mainstream movie and television productions. The studio has released several hardcore comedies since last year and has partnered with Adam & Eve to use their online store portal.

"We got into the adult entertainment industry because we felt it was a profitable sector of the entertainment industry," Baer told XBiz.

Bear said Colossal sought out Adam & Eve because it runs the e-stores of several other adult companies. Like an affiliate program, Adam & Eve takes a small percentage of Colossal’s sales for the online store site, which is housed on Adam & Eve’s servers but is branded with Colossal’s logo.

"We're pleased to be able to offer this to our customers," Bear said. "Colossal has teamed up with one of the largest online retailers to provide an option for our customers who are looking for our product and can't find it or who are just more comfortable shopping over the Internet."

Colossal’s other titles include the “Ass Feast” series and “Ripe for the Pipe.”
