LOS ANGELES — The eighth annual Pornhub Awards transformed Los Candiles Night Club in Glassell Park into a celebration of glamour, glitter, fashion and fame Wednesday night, as performers, creators and industry insiders toasted the year’s winners and danced late into the night while Diplo and Midnight Mary kept the party pulsing from behind the decks.
A taco truck greeted guests outside the jam-packed venue, while mariachis performed between DJ sets, adding a distinctly Los Angeles flair to the festivities.
Inside, silver tinsel shimmered against the walls while colorful neon lighting stretched across the ceiling, illuminating a glowing checkered dance floor beneath a red disco ball. Sponsored by iGaming platform 1win, the event offered a photo booth and an open bar to keep the shots and champagne flowing.
Guests were also greeted by a cheeky warning: “Dance at your own risk.”
The Pornhub Awards were bumping from start to finish, thanks in part to parent company Aylo’s decision to announce this year’s winners ahead of the event, rather than halt its momentum with awards pageantry. While the decision reduced some of the suspense, it also removed the pressure, allowing performers to simply celebrate together as a community.
Instead of a traditional host guiding the proceedings, brand ambassadors Asa Akira, Natassia Dreams, Aria Nathaniel, Queenie Sateen, and Ricky Johnson were all prominently featured on party flyers that lined the entrance of the nightclub.
Top performers such as Britney Amber, Brittany Andrews, Sarah Arabic, Vanna Bardot, Lilly Bell, Ria Bentley, Ariel Demure, Megan Mistakes, Mary Moody, Octavia Red, Abby Rose, and Charlotte Sins were among those in attendance.
The guest list also included power publicist Erika Icon, talent agent Mark Spiegler, content creator Molly from Vibewithmommy, and male performers Scott Nails and Logan Xander, whose razorblade earrings became a conversation piece throughout the evening.
Among the night’s biggest winners was Violet Myers, who took home Most Popular Female Performer.
“Honestly, I’m still speechless by the fact that I was even nominated, let alone that I won the category, because it’s a huge honor — not just from Pornhub, but from my fans,” Myers told XBIZ. “I’m still taking it in. It’s not real until the trophy comes in.”
While grateful for the recognition, Myers said reconnecting with friends remains one of her favorite parts of the evening.
“It’s like a reunion,” she said. “We’re always doing our own thing, whether it’s working or traveling or just living our own lives, so with these events, it’s always great to reconnect with everyone and meet new people in person.”
Petite performer Yhivi said it felt “so good” to win Top Blowjob Performer, marking her first Pornhub Award and second blowjob award of the year.
“You’ve gotta put your heart into it,” she said when asked about the secret to an award-winning blowjob. “I give it my all. You can’t be afraid of a mess.”
BigTittyGothEgg was in high spirits after earning her third consecutive win for Favorite Solo Performer.
“Honestly, I’m astonished,” she said. “There are so many deserving creators who deserve this award, and I’m just grateful to have my fans voting for me. It’s such a huge accomplishment.”
Elsewhere at the soiree, Angela White celebrated a repeat victory of her own after taking home the Nicest Tits award for the second consecutive year.
“It’s an incredible feeling,” White said of her win. “I’m so grateful to all my fans for watching and voting.”
Another performer celebrating a long-awaited victory was the bootylicious Willow Ryder, who won the award for Hottest Ass.
“It’s really surreal. My fans really came through for me, so I’m happy,” said Ryder. “I won Top Anal Performer last year, but I’ve wanted to win Hottest Ass since I started.”
Serenity Cox, who won Best Fetish Model, said it was “such an honor” to be recognized for her contribution to the fetish community. Elsewhere, the voluptuous Abigaiil Morris beamed after being named Top Lesbian Performer.
“It’s my first Pornhub Award, so it feels awesome,” Morris enthused. "I feel like it’s very fitting that I won Top Lesbian Performer because I love women. As someone who has had a girlfriend my whole life, it’s nice to be recognized for it.”
Cubbi Thompson was literally upside down when she found out she had won the fan-voted award for Favorite Alt Baddie.
“I was practicing handstands in my hotel room, and I genuinely didn’t think I was going to win, so when my phone started blowing up, I was like, ’What is going on?’ And that’s how I found out — mid-handstand practice, as you should.”
Best Male Newcomer Victor Ray was touched after winning his first individual award.
“It means the world to me. This is the first award I’ve won that’s specific to me, so it means a lot,” he said. “I’m just really happy to be here,”
As if celebrating his own Cinder-fella moment, Ray danced shirtless before the clock struck midnight.
Another male performer who stood out was Girthmaster, and not just because he towered above the crowd at 6’6. The Favorite Male Performer winner called the win “recognition of hard work” and “a huge relief,” as he was nominated in three categories but didn’t expect to win any of them.
“I was dethroned for Best Dick by J-Mac this year, so I’ll have some strong words for him when I see him,” he joked. “I’m kidding, please don’t tell him I said that. He’s a scary man! Seriously though, it feels really amazing to be recognized by the Pornhub community and my fans, and I’m really grateful to be able to celebrate and have a great night with all my friends.”
TheJellyFilledGirls continued their winning streak once again, capturing the win for Favorite Couple.
“We’re still on a high,” said Sasha, one half of the duo. “This is our second win in a row this year, and it’s been our biggest year yet, so we're super thrilled.”
Elly Clutch, who defended her Nicest Pussy throne, also claimed the trophy for Favorite Female Performer and celebrated her double win in the VIP area, where she danced to “Got Your Number” by Nadia Oh feat. Space Cowboy.
As the night progressed, the celebration shifted fully into party mode as dollar bills floated through the air as attendees made it rain during a live strip show that added an extra layer of rockstar energy to the night.
The party raged well past 1 a.m. as DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What” turned into ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” as attendees snapped selfies in front of the giant Pornhub signage — in big bright varsity letters — for the ‘Gram.
After the final beats dropped, guests filtered out of the club, still basking in the afterglow of the evening’s festivities. Outside, stars signed autographs for waiting fans, drawing the evening to a fitting close.
