LOS ANGELES — xHamster has released its annual Halloween trend report, which reveals interesting shifts in consumer preference.

“Yes, all Halloween costumes are now required to be ‘sexy’ ... but not all sexy costumes are created equal,” xHamster VP Alex Hawkins explained. “In order to help you to maximize your ghoul appeal this Halloween, we took a look at the top trends in Halloween searches to see what users worldwide find the most creepily sexy.”

Hawkins says the good news is that Halloween itself is officially sexier than ever.

“Searches for ‘Halloween’ and Halloween-themed porn jumped 271 percent over 2016. That’s huge,” Hawkins added. “But a rising tide didn’t lift all boats. Sexy witches and sexy skeletons are all the rage, while ‘candy’ and ‘mummies’ are officially boner killers.”
