AOE Plans Comprehensive Seminar Schedule

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands — Show organizers of Adult Online Europe (AOE), a leading trade event for mobile, online and IPTV, have planned a comprehensive and varied seminar slate for the show, which runs April 27-30.

The show’s first day feature two seminar tracks. Track 1 kicks off with “The Future of Mobile Adult Entertainment,” which will discuss mobilizing adult video content. Rob Johnson, CEO of Netcollex will moderate the panel, which includes NEXT ID’s Patrick Fischer, Respond Mobile’s Steve Flaherty, 739 Mobile’s Richard Skaife, Candywall’s Christian Amicabile, Mindmatics’ Markus Kritscher and Mobival’s Ofer Zur.

“Taking Dating, Chat and Horoscopes to the Next Level” will discuss the rise in those types of sites’ popularity. Panelists include Nigel Barnes of Virtual Girlfriend, Peter Skinner of Mobestar, Dave Evans of 3G Video Limited and a representative from iPoint Media.

“Convergence in Adult Entertainment” stands to be an interesting discussion about new technology and its impact on adult content delivery, moderated by Dave Knell of 3C Ltd.

The second track of seminars focuses on how to monetize adult content and services. The rise of social networking and viral video sites will be addressed at the “Exploiting Community and User Generated Content” seminar; “Will Search Deliver Everything the Mobile User Wants?” will touch on the full potential of mobile search, content and commerce; “Gambling, Competitions and Quizzes” will discuss the opportunities that exist in mobile gaming.

Day 2 of the seminar schedule has adult content, traffic and legal implications as the focal point. XBIZ Publisher Tom Hymes is appearing on the “Law & Order” panel and Stephen Bugbee, XBIZ director of media relations and business development is speaking on the content panel.

“I’m looking forward to bringing my years of content experience to the table while enjoying myself at AOE,” Bugbee said.

The four-day networking event also features hosted activities and parties.
