Webmaster Central Joins Secured Ranks With HTTPS

Webmaster Central Joins Secured Ranks With HTTPS

LOS ANGELES — Webmaster Central today said it has migrated over to the HTTPS protocol.

For Webmaster Central, the switch was a “no brainer” when customers started requesting it, according to company principal Andy.

“Our clients want us to create customized and unique websites modules all the time,” he said. “This new change allows us to push our tech further and bring new services to all our clients with the best data security possible.”

In recent months, some of the top online adult sites have switched over to the more secure HTTPS, or hypertext transfer protocol secure, to fend off security breaches.

With HTTPS, users see a green padlock in the upper left-hand corner of their browsers, indicating a secured view where others can’t see what they are looking at.

Some of the biggest brands in online adult entertainment have moved over to a fully compliant secure sockets layer with HTTPS.

Adult giant AEBN recently said it would integrate HTTPS in the vast number of websites it operates. HotMovies and MindGeek tube sites PornHub.com and YouPorn.com have already switched over to HTTPS.

Andy said the migration to HTTPS wasn’t as simple as some might suspect, but that the results speak for themselves — Webmaster Central has seen signups that have doubled on some of its own B2C websites.

“The issue is that it’s not as easy as flipping a switch” Andy said. “Your pages need to be migrated correctly, your redirects have to all be in order and your backend has to be managed properly.

“That is another service we are now providing for site owners, and we have experience doing it thanks to our own site’s successful transition recently.”
