Mobius Payments Nominated for 2 XBIZ Exec Awards

LOS ANGELES — Mobius Payments has received two nominations in the 2017 XBIZ Exec Awards, to be held at the Andaz Hotel on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip in January.

CEO Mia Zhu has been nominated for Businesswoman of the Year, and Sales Director Matthew “Pyra” Mund has been nominated for Business Development Executive of the Year. The online industry edition of the 2017 XBIZ Exec Awards will take place at an exclusive ceremony on Jan. 10, followed by the retail edition on Jan. 11.

“I am humbled and honored to be nominated as Businesswoman of the Year,” Zhu said. “We have strived to make Mobius Payments the merchant’s choice when it comes to facilitating the acceptance of electronic payments for their products and services; receiving this nomination from my peers shows me that my hard work is paying off. I am just as proud of Matt’s nomination because few businesses can thrive relying solely on (an) existing client base. Matt’s outgoing personality and thoroughness has been a major asset in our success.”

Mund said, “Ever since coming on with Mobius Payments, I have seen nothing but a company striving to be the best that it can be. I enjoy working with our clients to ensure that all of their processing needs are met with the security they deserve. This nomination validates our team's hard work and Mia's great leadership, and I want to thank everyone for the nomination.”

Nominees for the XBIZ Exec Awards are submitted by industry peers based on factors such as leadership ability and positive community influence.

Mobius Payments, based in Los Angeles, specializes in electronic payment processing solutions and high-risk merchant accounts in the United States, Europe and Asia.
