Jelloun Named InterClimax President

AMSTERDAM — Live content provider and video feed specialist InterClimax has named Ben Jelloun its new president. Jelloun, who has been with the company for seven years, also will assume sales manager duties vacated by Claudia Bom.

Founder Werner Karl van Lubek still will be actively involved in the strategic development of the company.

“I am very excited about the future and I like all the challenges that this industry throws at you,” Jelloun told XBIZ. “I believe revenue will double at least in the next three years, based on new and existing distribution channels. While a major part of our success is based on the development of our own user interface that end users understand and enjoy, we will continue on the way of improvement non-stop.”

InterClimax, started in 1997, has grown into a multinational corporation with offices in many countries. The company was one of the first to provide live streaming technology to its customers. It operates 15 studios producing live content daily.

“We are in the process of implementing content delivery platforms for the latest available technology with new regional partnerships, multilingual simultaneous translation possibilities,” Jelloun said. “We envision unprecedented growth, with new and fraud-proof ways to charge the end customer for the services.”

Jelloun says staying on the cutting edge of technology while giving his end users the easiest means to access content will be his biggest challenge as president.

“To maintain a clear vision of the ever-changing landscape of our industry, to stay ahead of the game will be the biggest test,” Jelloun said. “Also to maintain the high level of the sales team to deliver what our business partners need. The technology will bring new opportunities that need to be realized in a form and substance according to the changes of the market.”
