Twitter has been the social network that could. It has had its time in the sun where it is the top of the social networks for adult content, and then it will lag behind some new shiny network, then it will come back around. Everyone is always predicting its death, and yet it continues to shine. Twitter is also the “meh, deal with it” network. When people asked to be able to edit tweets, Twitter responded, “Oh, interesting idea, but no.” But they are not totally deaf to the needs of the users. In fact, one potential change could be a big game changer for adult.
Twitter has the worst way of delivering a surprise. It has been rumored that they are updating their UI (user interface) and adding some new and fun features. But instead of just doing that, they are locking accounts. The bonus surprise is that if you don’t yet have a phone number associated with your account, they may not unlock your account until you add one.
