7 Veils Trumpets 3 XBIZ Exec Awards Nods for MacEwen, Lecomte

LOS ANGELES — 7 Veils is celebrating three nominations collected by principals Alex Lecomte and Lauren MacEwen for the 2019 XBIZ Exec Awards — Online Industry.

MacEwen, 7 Veils CEO, has been nominated for Businesswoman of the Year and for the WIA Woman of the Year award, while Lecomte, the company’s sales and marketing director, is a nominee for Community Figure of the Year.

“It is a huge honor to be nominated with so many amazing women. Being included in such a forward-thinking, ambitious and prestigious group is quite an honor. As a company, we have been working hard at developing new technologies and strategies that help our clients to be successful. I am excited about the work we have done (and) some of the great projects coming in the future,” MacEwen said.

“I also am proud of being a resource for the community and someone that people feel they can reach out to about social media, and personal business matters.”

Lecomte also expressed gratitude for the recognition. “I am very thankful and proud to be nominated for the fourth time for the Community Figure of the year. This category is very important for me,” he said. “I hope that somehow, I — myself, but also as an extension, 7 Veils — contribute more than in a business way to our adult industry. We are facing so many challenges to fight multiple unfair stigmas that, in my opinion, being part of a community only makes us stronger and mentally healthier.”

7 Veils, a rep notes, is “the premier social media marketing firm in the adult industry working with companies and individuals ranging from B2B, content providers, performers, tech companies, cryptocurrency and legal marijuana businesses. They do everything in social marketing from fully managing social accounts, developing strategy, consulting, in-house training and selling individual tweets. The company prides itself on developing successful organic social marketing campaigns and working with all businesses from large to small, and all budget levels.”
