Xamo Releases Adult-Specific CMS

MANITOBA, Canada – Xamo, streaming video company and creator of adult games like “Fornicator” and “Cockgobbler,” has developed a content management system that its developer says is perfect for adult paysites.

“We got the idea to [develop XXX CMS] after a number of people we work with asked us to help them build a custom solution for managing multiple sites within their affiliate programs,” said Michael Brown, Xamo’s president and lead developer on the project.

Browwn told XBiz that the program, like many of Xamo's applications, was built to facillitate in-house procedures. "But XXX CMS is the side project that turned into a monster."

In the manner of many technology releases within the adult Internet community, the Xamo XXX CMS is being tweaked even after its debut this week, with recent additions of watermarking support and plans for PHP page generation. As a selling point, Mike reported on GFY.com that he always releases the source code to his products.

The impetus to create a template-based system for rapidly updating an affiliate manager’s numerous sites came as a result of dissatisfaction with what Mike termed “canned CMS solutions.” Instead, XXX CMS allows webmasters to structure their CMS around their paysites rather than vice versa.

“Most people we spoke with were not happy with canned CMS solutions found on the market because they forced webmasters to build sites based on a structure a CMS imposed on them,” he said. “XXX CMS doesn’t do that; it is flexible and powerful enough to work the way a webmaster wants to work.”

Because Xamo does not develop applications like this as a mainstay to its business, Brown told XBiz that the software is inexpensive by comparison with other CMS solutions and is available as a download only. All future upgrades will be free to the purchaser of the full product, he said.

XXX CMS is available for purchase and in demo form at https://www.xxxcms.com.
