Registration Open for 8th Annual Island Gathering

CURACAO, Netherlands Antilles — Online registration for Island Gathering, set for Oct. 17-20, is now open. VIP registration opened on March 1, and premium rooms are already sold out.

Island Gathering was created as an alternative to large conventions, meant to promote networking among industry leaders and to allow company decision makers the chance to make solid, executive level deals.

Instead of booths, Island Gathering hosts events and activities that encourage social interaction between guests, allowing the creation of new contacts and the strengthening of existing relationships.

"The idea for Island Gathering was born after many unproductive and frustrating trips to the larger industry conventions. The crowds, the venues — the constant interruptions made it virtually impossible to relax, sit down and close a deal," Fabian of 123Resourcing.com said.

Island Gathering offers networking dinners that encourage new relationships and a comprehensive networking guide to promote follow-up. Spouses are welcome.

"Doing business with another company when you know the decision makers at a personal level simplifies the business deal," Esther of Epoch said. "And it creates a higher degree of negotiation comfort."

Hosted by Epoch and 123Resourcing, Island Gathering mixes business and pleasure. The all-inclusive weekend adds the elements of a vacation at a tropical beach resort, including activities such as swimming with dolphins, ATV rides, sailing trips, beach parties, happy hour, elegant dinners and late night parties.

To attend this year's Island Gathering, register at IslandGathering.com.

A limited number of sponsorship packages are still available. Email dana@mailme123.com for information.
