LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support is hosting a free online support group for performers affected by suicide.
The six-week “Seeking Support” group will be led by Pineapple Support therapist James Rossi and begins Sept. 1 at 2:30 p.m. (PDT). Sessions will take place weekly through Oct. 6.
“Losing someone to suicide or surviving the experience oneself is one of the most profound and complex forms of grief a person can carry,” said a rep. “This group will offer a safe, compassionate space to explore patterns of grief, healing, and post-traumatic growth alongside fellow survivors and healers.”
Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit added, “Suicide loss touches so many in our community, often in silence. ‘Seeking Support’ exists to break that silence and offer a place where survivors can come together, be heard, and begin to heal. We are deeply proud to offer this group as part of our commitment to showing up for our community in its most difficult moments.”
