The Litchfield Elementary School Distrcit website, lesd.k12.az.us, reportedly is so similar to that of webmaster Robert Cain of Indialantic, Fla., that a parent and student mistyped the address and subsequently viewed adult photos.
Cain launched Lesd.com in 2002 and owns the domain until 2009, according to domain registrar GoDaddy.com.
According to Arizona news site, AZCentral.com, the acronym LESD is used by about 30 school districts in the area.
The school district reportedly offered to purchase the domain from Cain, but parents and school officials were hesitant to put any school funding money toward an outside purchase.
Lesd.com now directs users to Google.com.
