MyMember.site Integrates FSC's 'PrivateAV' Age Verification Solution

LOS ANGELES — MyMember.site has integrated Free Speech Coalition's PrivateAV age verification tool into its website-building platform.

"PrivateAV was developed to provide a more privacy-conscious and affordable approach to online age verification," said a rep. "Through the integration, MyMember.site clients automatically have the service enabled on their sites without the need for custom coding or outside development support."

Users visiting MyMember-built websites in regulated regions are automatically shown a safe-for-work landing page, where they can complete the age-verification process.

"We’re glad that platforms are responding so positively to PrivateAV," said FSC Executive Director Alison Boden. "Age-verification laws can be expensive and burdensome, especially for smaller, independent platforms. Because we’re a non-profit, we’re able to offer PrivateAV at close to cost, using protocols that better match the needs of our members. Best of all, PrivateAV isn’t financing the for-profit age-verification industry behind many of these laws. We’re thrilled to see so many platforms getting on board."
