Steve Bannister of BMS Enterprises Honored With Lifetime Achievement Award

HANNOVER, Germany — Steve Bannister, the president and owner of BMS Enterprises, has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Erotix Awards.

Held in conjunction with the eroFame trade show, the Erotix Awards distinguish "the best of the best" at the event, noted a BMS spokesperson.

Bannister was "thrilled" to receive the award. "I'm truly grateful to be recognized. It has been a labor of love bringing my dreams to life," he said."After 36 years of being a part of this industry, I am able to look back on my achievements with pride."

He began his journey with the retail store Aren’t We Naughty in Toronto in 1983. "He had a vision to make shopping for sex toys a couple-friendly experience, enjoyable and informative for everyone who visited," said a rep.

With the success of this first store, Bannister subsequently opened 10 more locations before eventually expanding into distribution within Canada under the name BMS Enterprises. Still years later, Bannister continued expanding the brand to include manufacturing. The BMS brand now spans two factories and over 18 unique labels that are available worldwide.
