XBIZ Retreat to Make Its Cabo Comeback Aug. 17-21

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Retreat will return to Cabo San Lucas Aug. 17–21, bringing together top LATAM retail buyers and pleasure product brands for a week of dealmaking and networking.

Renowned for its focus on facilitating business, XBIZ Retreat offers a unique opportunity for retailers and brands to connect through curated meetings and memorable shared experiences.

This year’s LATAM edition will once again be held at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort, where stunning ocean views, premium accommodations and amenities create the ideal setting for business and pleasure to intersect.

Nasstoys Sales Representative Suzy Contreras said she appreciated the opportunity at XBIZ Retreat Cabo to spend one-on-one time with customers she doesn’t usually see in person.

“Attending XBIZ Retreat Cabo was highly beneficial for our business in several key ways,” Contreras said. “It gave us the opportunity to connect with potential clients, showcase our products, gain industry insights and build brand visibility. We were able to generate leads, form new partnerships and gather feedback — which will directly support our growth in the coming months.”

Blush lead brand ambassador and education coordinator Staci Cruse called XBIZ Retreat Cabo “a fantastic and productive time.”

“It was incredibly beneficial for Blush,” she said. “The relaxed atmosphere really allowed for more meaningful conversations and a deeper understanding of our customers’ needs, which will undoubtedly help us strengthen our partnerships. And let’s not forget the incredible views we got to enjoy while we worked! It’s not every day you get to combine professional networking with such breathtaking scenery.”

Buyers at XBIZ Retreat Cabo also reported success at last year’s event.

“XBIZ Retreat Cabo was an excellent opportunity to make new connections and build relationships with suppliers, driving new business opportunities,” said Diego Silva of Peru-based Banana Pop Sex Shop.

Guido Castro Molina of Sweet Shop Chile concurred.

“Honestly, XBIZ Retreat Cabo is my favorite show — it’s such an interesting blend of business and pleasure,” he said. “It’s always rewarding to connect with the brand representatives and explore better ways of working and growing sales together.”

Julian Arellano, CEO and co-founder of Secreto Amor, said last year’s edition was a memorable and eye-opening experience.

“Having the chance to sit down face-to-face with other companies and decision-makers allowed for a much deeper level of connection than what is possible through emails or virtual conversations,” he said. “Being able to personally discuss opportunities and share ideas helped build trust and lay the foundation for stronger partnerships moving forward. XBIZ Retreat opened the door for us to grow in new directions by adding brands to our distribution center and expanding our network of industry connections.

“Beyond the business side, it was inspiring to be surrounded by so many passionate and driven professionals who are shaping the future of our industry,” he added. “I left Cabo not only with new partnerships but also with fresh motivation and a clearer vision for how to continue building our company.”

Oscar Torres of Grupo Torher reflected, “Attending XBIZ Retreat after a 15-year hiatus was a special experience; seeing mostly new faces while greeting old friends was quite moving. I’m very happy with the vendors and their innovative products that we will undoubtedly distribute in Mexico.”

Fernando Aparicio, CEO of Comercio Mexicano Internacional, said XBIZ Retreat Cabo stood out for its welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals.

“I’m sure we’ll achieve great things,” he said. “The quality and warmth of the people were spectacular. The organizers and participants were the best. They made us feel at home, and that helped foster valuable connections.”

Sex Shop Matamoros owner Polo Medina said XBIZ Retreat Cabo provides a valuable opportunity to discover new products and take advantage of exclusive promotions.

“It is beneficial to our business because we get to see, firsthand, new products for our market,” he added. “Plus, it’s also always good to take advantage of special promotions and discounts that are only offered at this show!”
