ASACP Names Dating Gold, Fleshlight, 7 Veils Media its Featured Sponsors for August 2018

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced Dating Gold, Fleshlight, and 7 Veils Media as its Featured Sponsors for the month of August 2018.

According to ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning, the association’s Featured Sponsors demonstrate how lawful adult entertainment and child protection can work hand-in-hand, where the companies on the front lines are able to make the most difference.

“Through self-regulation and proactive measures that help prevent minors’ access to age-restricted materials, ASACP’s Featured Sponsors help keep kids safer in their daily digital lives,” Henning explains. “It is our pleasure to honor these caring companies for their commitment to caring for society’s most vulnerable members.”

Henning says ASACP’s Sponsors help enable the association’s award-winning services.

“ASACP leverages the support it receives from its sponsors to power a small but dedicated team that provides the business and technological resources for protecting children online,” Henning says. “This includes our Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta label, market-specific Best Practices and a universal Code of Ethics to guide companies towards child-safe operation.”

The non-profit association’s 22-year-long record of success is crowned by its Child Exploitation Tipline, which has processed more than one million CP reports to-date — illustrating the value of the association and the effective use it makes of its limited resources.

For August, ASACP is pleased to honor Dating Gold, Fleshlight, and 7 Veils Media, as its latest Featured Sponsors, recognizing these companies’ continued support of the association and their commitment to making the internet safer for children.

Dating Gold
A valued ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2007, casual dating and webcam affiliate program DatingGold.com demonstrates its commitment to protecting children by including the RTA label on its flagship cam site WebCamClub.com, and dating site, AmateurMatch.com. It also offers a number of other niche cam and dating sites, as well as co-branded affiliate sites.

Although ASACP holds its sponsors to the highest ethical standards, cam and dating sites are faced with additional membership requirements because they contain user generated content that is produced outside of commercial channels, which regulate a performer’s proof of age — so extra steps are needed to help ensure that only lawful images and consenting adults are displayed.

Here, DatingGold excels as an example of how proactive measures by content providers can make a difference in keeping children safe on (and from) the internet.

Fleshlight
Another ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2007, Fleshlight and its parent Interactive Life Forms, is an established leader in the field of sexual health and fulfillment and serves as a positive example for other adult novelty companies to follow. On the forefront of the development of haptic devices, Fleshlight bridges traditional novelties with the newest technology, to bolster connections between people around the world.

According to Fleshlight, in an era where vibrators have been championed as a means for female sexual freedom and enjoyment, male sex products have remained something of a dirty, unwanted cousin to their female counterparts. By providing a high quality, discreet and tasteful product, the company hopes to help change these perceptions and to bring the topic of male sexuality into the public discourse — with a focus on providing adult novelties to adults only.

7 Veils Media
An In-Kind Media Sponsor since 2013, 7 Veils is the premier social media marketing firm for the adult entertainment industry. The company builds Twitter, Facebook and other strategies to integrate with a client’s overall marketing campaign, and assists ASACP in broadening and refining its social media initiatives.

“The adult industry is a leader in child protection and advocacy and it is 7 Veils privilege to be the social media outlet for this important work,” 7 Veils CEO Lauren MacEwen explains. “7 Veils chose ASACP specifically because we deeply value a need to protect our children from sexual exploitation, be it overt or subtly concealed, and 7 Veils is proud to provide the social media management for this extremely important organization.”

MacEwen is the 2015 Recipient of the ASACP Service Recognition Award.

“From casual dating and cams to advanced male sex products, marketing services and beyond, ASACP’s Featured Sponsors cover all adult industry segments.” Henning concludes, “This shows how proactive corporate responsibility and self-regulation are vital to online child protection — and thanks to the generosity and leadership of companies like Dating Gold, Fleshlight, and 7 Veils Media — ASACP is able to make a positive difference in the lives of at-risk youth.”
