Pineapple Support to Host 'Neurodivergent Performers' Support Group

LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support is hosting a free online support group for neurodivergent performers.

The six-week “Workplace Woes and Finding Alternatives” group will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Tristan Brooks and begins March 10 at 3 p.m. (EDT). Sessions will last approximately one hour and will take place weekly through April 14.

“This group will offer a supportive space for neurodivergent performers to explore why mainstream employment structures often fail them,” said Brooks. “We’ll unpack systemic barriers, share experiences, and foster strategies to navigate or even thrive outside of traditional norms. The goal is to validate our paths and build community through shared understanding.”

Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit added, “People with neurodivergent diagnoses face high rates of unemployment in mainstream industries, and many have found that flexible workplaces like the adult industry offer a more welcoming alternative. Too often, traditional workplaces are ill-equipped to accommodate those who think and operate differently. I’m proud that Pineapple Support can offer a space where performers can unpack these frustrations, share support, and envision better pathways forward.”
