Kira Lee (Dani Daniels) Holds 1st Solo Art Show in NYC on Oct. 27

NEW YORK — Kira Lee (a.k.a. Dani Daniels, 2016 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year) has announced she is holding her first-ever solo art show, "Painting All the Art," tomorrow from 7-10pm, at the 212 Arts gallery located on 240 East 4th Street, New York.

The collection is a study in "Iconic Pointillism,” a technique that Lee created using the written word as pointillism. "No one has ever used handwritten words for pointillism before," she said. "It’s not a concept I came up with overnight. The process of creating texture and grey scale from typography has been and still is evolving over the years."

Lee has used her Iconic Pointillism to create murals of some of Hollywood's most notable faces — from Marilyn Monroe to David Bowie, in addition to cultural, intellectual and philosophical icons like the Dalai Lama and Albert Einstein. Her highly-detailed approach to creating realistic art has earned her the attention of art enthusiasts and acclaimed artists around the world.

When asked about Lee’s art, contemporary pop artist Bradley Theodore said, "Her art makes love with words.”

Lee expressed, “I love the idea of creating something with another connected thing. Using theories to outline horn-rimmed glasses. Song lyrics twisted and turned into locks of hair. Heart-aching poems carved into crow’s feet. Culture-defining philosophies stitched into a silk robe. Gathering these beautiful writings and celebrating them collectively with something as dynamic as the artist's portrait.”

212 Arts recently celebrated its one-year anniversary by highlighting "some of the globe's most talented street artists." The gallery is committed to the promotion of urban and street art, as well as New York culture and pop art. The event is sponsored by Fantinel Estates, which will offer complimentary service to guests attending the exhibit. To RSVP, email vic@evilgenius.nyc

“This is my first showing in New York City and I can think of no better place to exhibit than 212 Arts," Lee concluded. "Come and check out my work and see in person the creation of iconography with typography."
