Entrenue Debuts Modern API to Streamline Customer Experience

PHOENIX — Entrenue has announced the debut of its new API, providing a seamless management interface that streamlines the day-to-day needs and operations of the boutique distributors’ customers.

According to the company, its new API makes it easy to stay up-to-date on product data, availability and drop-ship ordering in real time, with optimal accuracy, speed and efficiency to save customers time, energy and effort.

This exclusive API provides a real-time connection to Entrenue’s database of product information, images, data and more, and offers a valuable tool for marketing support employees and more.

Once integrated into their ecommerce backends, the API establishes a direct feed from Entrenue’s website to their own, with automatic updates. Any edits or changes made to items on Entrenue’s end, such as pricing, content and sizing, are automatically updated on customers’ websites.

“We’re frequently told by our customers how much they like the content we provide — everything from the extensiveness of the descriptions to the quality of the photos,” Entrenue Director of Digital Marketing Jen Urso said. “The bonus of our API is there’s no need for copying and pasting or any other kind of manual updating, which means customers can spend more time on the other aspects of their businesses that matter most — which is especially convenient for our drop-ship customers.”

After implementing the API, all orders placed on a drop-ship customer’s site goes straight to Entrenue, completely eliminating the need for a middleperson to handle the job.

“This API gives us an even closer connection to our customers while enabling them faster and easier access to the information they need without waiting for an email response or return phone call,” Entrenue President Joe Casella said. “Customers also can track their orders and shipping information, an additional benefit for those looking to streamline their Entrenue experience. Our customers can now take advantage of this convenient and valuable service, freeing them up to handle all the other important aspects of their businesses.”

Combining the convenience of instant-access and the importance of smooth functionality, Entrenue’s API was designed for seamless integration and is compatible with most ecommerce platforms, including Shopify, BigCommerce and even WordPress shopping carts.

Access is free, although customers are advised to work with trained programmers to handle the initial install, with Entrenue able to provide recommendations for tech support.
