Pineapple Support to Host 'Money and Mental Health' Online Event

LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support is hosting a free, online event to help performers balance financial wellbeing with mental health, Aug. 18-19.

The two-day, virtual “Money & Mental Health” wellness event will be hosted by creator and mentor Char Borley and feature multiple one-hour panels and workshops per day.

On day one, Nate Mallory and Mia Lee will host “Naked Truth About Wealth: From Content Creation to Retirement” at 1 p.m. (EDT). Next, “The Price of Success: Money & Mental Health in the Adult Industry” takes place at 2 p.m. with host Tess Kilwein and panelists Austin Fiascone, Austin Ponce, Athena Bellamy, Josy Black, and Kasey Kei.

Day two includes “Beyond the Hustle: Burnout, Boundaries & Mental Health in the Adult Industry” with Malia Scott at 1 p.m.; “Adulting 101: A Tax and Finance Workshop for the Working Adult” with Duke Tax at 2 p.m.; and “Building a Life I Own: How Money Skills Set Me Free” with Red Evie at 2:45 p.m.

“Financial insecurity, banking discrimination, and the pressures of hustle culture can take a heavy emotional toll on adult industry professionals,” said Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit. “By bringing these conversations to the forefront, we hope to break stigma, offer practical resources, and provide a community of support — because financial health is mental health.”
