.XXX Releases 2 Character Domains

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — ICM Registry, the registry operator for .XXX, .PORN, .ADULT and .SEX, has announced its launch of two character domain names for .XXX.

Following another year of successful premium sales, including the highly sought after VR.SEX and VR.PORN, both of which recently sold to separate parties in all cash transactions with a list price of $100,000 each, ICM has now released the valuable two character domains for the .XXX TLD.

“Within just a few months, we have sold over 250 two character names in .SEX, .ADULT and .PORN,” says ICM Director Steve Winyard. “We are delighted to bring these rare two character .XXX names to market.”

Premium two character .XXX domains remain directly available through ICM, with annual pricing at select registrars starting at $3,000.

“Since the launch of our annual pricing program in September, 2015, we have sold over 500 premium names, led by the 250 two character names,” Winyard explains. “This follows on from the market leading values achieved in our premium names over the last four years.”

“In dollar amounts, we have likely sold more in premium names than any registry launched in recent times,” Winyard added. “A growing interest from the Chinese market and a general increase in awareness of all our TLDs leave the outlook for brands, adult companies, and domain investors very strong in 2016.”
