DENVER — CollabGPS has launched a professional badge system for users, with badges available in five categories: content creator, performer, media/podcaster, social media (SFW) and production support.
According to a rep, ID verification is required to create a CollabGPS profile, while the professional badge system gives established users an additional way to verify their work and experience.
“Some creators feel more comfortable when they can see that someone has an established track record, but I never wanted that to mean new people don’t belong here,” said CollabGPS founder Ted Buras. “The goal is to give users more information and more choice.
