LOS ANGELES — Adult industry powerhouse Wicked Pictures has announced that it has received four major 2015 Inked Awards nominations, with three going to “Axel Braun’s Inked.”
The awards show is produced by InkedAngels.com, the popular tattoo culture website celebrating beautiful women from the worlds of adult entertainment and rock music.
According to Inked Angels, the Inked Awards were conceived in 2012 with seven categories, in an online-only broadcast. 2014 saw the addition of fan nominated and voted categories, and 2015 rings in another milestone, with the Inked Awards becoming a live event, co-hosted by Karmen Karma and Draven Star.
The show is set for Saturday, November 14 in Edison, New Jersey, at the Hilton Garden Inn.
“Axel Braun’s Inked” is a stylish showcase of the charms of tattooed stars Katrina Jade, Kleio Valentien, Karmen Karma, Vyxen Steel and Lolly Ink. The title earned nominations for “Best DVD” and “Best Scene” (for the match up of Kleio and Seth Gamble), and for “Director of the Year” for Braun. In recognition of Wicked’s overall commitment to quality and innovation in adult entertainment, the company received a nomination for “Studio of the Year,” as well.
The “Best Scene” nomination comes at a most appropriate time for Valentien, as the blonde bombshell’s media profile is skyrocketing thanks to her excellent portrayal of Harley Quinn in the best-selling Wicked Comix blockbuster, “Batman v Superman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.”
“Working with Axel on something other than a big parody production was a really exciting experience,” Valentien says. “I had a great time on set. I loved getting to see another side of Axel's shooting style!”
