The SDR Show Welcomes ‘The Dead Daisies’ This Week

NEW YORK — The SDR Show, hosted by comedian Big Jay Oakerson and heavy metal disc jockey Ralph Sutton, welcomed four members of the hard rock group “The Dead Daisies” to the studio this past week, where the guests revealed their first time having sex, ingesting controlled substances, and going to their first rock concert, all on the “Sex, Drugs, and Rock n Roll” podcast.

The Dead Daisies is made up of Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus of Guns ‘N’ Roses, prolific drummer Brian Richey, and John Carabi, formerly of Motley Crüe and The Scream.

“The term ‘supergroup’ is thrown around a lot, and I know a lot of musicians hate that term,” says Sutton. “But when you have the long standing members of GNR, as well as a drummer who’s played with everyone from Ozzy, Whitesnake, Foreigner, and Billy Idol, and throw in the guy who sang for Motley for the highly under-rated ‘94 album, then I think you can say ‘supergroup’!”

The SDR Show has an advance peek of The Dead Daisies interview, available here.

The show will officially air Wednesday morning.

“They not only were all super cool dudes, but they sang two songs live: their new single, ‘Mexico,’ as well as the Beatles’ classic, ‘Norwegian Wood,’” Sutton adds, “and they swapped stories about their craziest memories on tour. This is an episode not to be missed!”
