ProfitLAB Launches RSSEXTICKER.com

SAN FRANCISCO — Marketing consultancy firm ProfitLAB debuted RSSEXTICKER.com today, which company representatives said would make it easy and inexpensive for webmasters to put adult RSS feeds on their sites.

The new service allows webmasters to transform their existing RSS feeds into dynamic scrolling columns within a web page, and offers full control over the color, size, speed and animation of the tickers. The company also said that only one line of JavaScript code is needed per ticker and that webmasters can make an RSSEXTICKER from any list of URLs, not just RSS feeds.

ProfitLABI President Jack Mardack added the company also would host the feeds, charging only $6 per 10,000 feed impressions.

“The pricing is an absolute give-away,” said Mardack. “Adult is often slow to adopt even the best ideas from the mainstream. I’m hoping that the price-point will make this a no-brainer for the traditionally unresponsive community my company has pledged to serve and help survive.”

Mardack said that the growth of blogging and RSS feeds in the mainstream markets make it imperative for adult companies to join in the technology.

“There can be no doubt the time has come for RSS to fulfill the promise of mass syndication on the web,” he said. “The advent of Blogging and the ‘friendliness’ between blogs and RSS has put the technology at critical mass, and then some.”

Mardack is well known for his frequent attempt to bridge adult with mainstream industries. He started DOTXXXBLOG.com in September as a forum for such mainstreaming, and also launched the site ImpoverishedNoobs.com, which was designed to nurture newcomers in the porn industry.
