Under the terms of an agreement released Monday, Brickhouse has signed with management and production firm TPG to develop WAP sites that will be marketed through each star’s official website.
TPG, also known as The Principal Group, has 25 top adult stars under its belt and operates TheAListGirls.com.
“TPG is one of the largest and most respected agencies within the adult industry and their talent roster is second to none,” Brickhouse President Clint Fayling said.
TPG actresses will offer Brickhouse their existing library of content, as well as creating original mobile products, including ringtones, wallpapers and videos.
In recent months, Brickhouse has ramped up its pool of content for numerous WAP sites (international standard WAP, or wireless application protocol, is designed to provide services equivalent to a web browser for mobile devices). The company has signed New Frontier Media, Wicked Pictures, Suze Randall, Falcon Studios, Homegrown Video and Aria Giovanni, as well as others.
The wireless adult service sector is forecast to generate $1.9 billion in worldwide revenue by 2008, according to Juniper Research.
In Europe, consumers who are purchasing adult content on their cellphones are spending an average of $34 a year, Juniper reports.
In another forecast, The Yankee Group said that ringtones are expected to grow to $1 billion by 2008. In 2003, they generated $80 million in revenue.
