 All About Anna
"All About Anna" is aimed squarely at the women’s market. It was produced by Danish mainstream-with-a-porn-division production company Zentropa and distributed in the U.S. by couples-friendly Wicked Pictures. This feature, shot in English, starts like a Lifetime movie, with Anna dreamily talking about Johan, her ideal man, as she prances on a ship's deck with him, then cheerfully waves bye-bye as he sails off.

When the credits roll a moment later, Johan has been gone for five years.

Anna, natch, cuts loose with nonstop no-strings sex, including a gleeful casual fuck in her new Paris apartment — interrupted by movers bringing in her stuff — one of whom is the long-gone Johan, who shrugs as if to say "I've had my fill of adventure," before walking back out.

Johan comes back just as Anna's new party-hardy roommate is throwing a housewarming bash, and he returns the next morning to give Anna some wake-up nookie before disappearing again. Feeling alone in Paris, she calls Johan at the exact same moment he calls her and they both get a busy signal. Johan hooks up with the roommate and Anna hooks up with a French actress but their hearts aren't in it. They're made for each other and they both know it.

Anna bids adieu to la vie Parisienne and heads to Copenhagen, and after a few complications, she and Johan fall back in each other's arms and bed.

Pretty people in a nonthreatening story with a happy ending. Full-on couples gold.
