Once Upon a Time in the Valley
When Steve Jacobs (Parker Ambrose) decides to strike out for Hollywood with the intention of making it big in porn, he goes in with his eyes wide open. It's a tough job in a tough city, but even with a steady head on his shoulders, Steve is not prepared for just how cutthroat the business can be.
Director Seth Gamble called this film "a love letter to the time that raised me." The 1990s vibe is strong with this project, and it feels pulled straight out of a time when the contract star and sprawling features were the foundation of porn. Jennifer White delivers her best, Parker Ambrose arrives as a leading man, Ken Feels is brilliantly unhinged, and the sex is off-the-charts hot.
The film's sexual introduction comes in the form of industry leading man Jake Python (Ken Feels) and Steve laying the pipe to an enthusiastic young blonde on a small set. Impressed with the young stud's performance, Jake suggests he look him up if he ever makes it out to L.A. A few months later, Steve does exactly that, and Jake introduces him to a director (Derrick Pierce) who can get him work, as well as co-star girlfriend Stephanie (Sinatra Monroe). Sinatra rides Jake like a stallion, her ample ass and bountiful boobs bouncing deliciously.
Steve gets booked on a shoot with Lotta Passion (Jennifer White) and Laura Lovely (Stella Lux). Passion is one of the biggest porn stars in the business, and the scene goes off without a hitch.
Steve's next gig features a campy alien/scientist schtick with European bombshell Cherry Kiss and the smoldering Christian Clay that hits all the right buttons. Meanwhile, Steve's relationship with Jake sours as his former friend's jealousy over his ascension starts to cause problems at home. Things get worse when the famous Rose Rockefeller (Queenie Sateen) requests Steve for a scene. She coerces him into a blowjob before the shoot even begins (that woman could suck the chrome off a car bumper), and reveals that she's already booked him to star with her in a huge movie in the next month.
"Part 1" of the epic film ends when Steve gives Lotta a ride home after discovering her broken down on the highway, and the two walk in on Lotta's boyfriend Ron (Nathan Bronson) banging a hot young starlet named Misty (Melissa Stratton).
"Part 2" picks up right where "Part 1" left off, with Lotta bringing the house down at a high-end strip club. As Steve collects her winnings for her, he meets a brand-new girl named Wendy Snipes (Ameena Green) in the dressing room. The impressionable young starlet is starstruck by Lotta, unlike fellow new girl Violet Rain (Gal Ritchie), who calls Lotta old. Violet corners the club owner, Zac Wild, and asks him to get her booked as a headliner. When he says there's nothing he can do if she doesn't have several box covers to her name, Violet resorts to a more unconventional method of persuasion. Wild works the gorgeous Gal over hard, leaving her face a gooey mess.
Violet uses her feminine wiles to book Lotta's newest movie, and she smugly claims that the box is hers and that Lotta is finished. But when her attitude runs afoul of the director, she finds herself fired on the spot. The director gets Paris Picasso (Blake Blossom) to replace Violet, and the scene with co-star Talon Steele (Isiah Maxwell) goes off without a hitch (what great chemistry between these two)!
The film's sexual climax comes as Wicked Pictures picks up Jake's movie script and all the relevant players get signed to work it. The story ends on a reflective note that will leave audiences thinking about what their favorite performers go through to bring these fantasies to life, and the impression it leaves on viewers will be a lasting one.
In the glittering yet shadowy backdrop of 1990s Los Angeles, naive newcomer Steve Jacobs journeys to fulfill his dreams of stardom in the adult film industry. As he navigates friendships, rivalries, lust, betrayal, and secrets, Steve discovers that beneath the glamour lies a dark world of hidden dangers, volatile egos, and elusive loyalties. Each step forward propels him further into a tangled web, where not everyone is who they claim to be. Friendships are fragile, trust is scarce, and ambition comes at a high cost. Can Steve find genuine connections amid the lies, or will his dream turn into an unending nightmare?
