Fragments, Vol. 4: Three’s a Crowd

When soon-to-be-married couple Arabelle Raphael and Mickey Mod come to San Francisco to visit their friend Maggie (Siouxsie Q), they’re bummed to discover she’s out of town. While Mod is perfectly fine spending their last night in the city relaxing in their hotel, Raphael is desperate to end the trip on a big note before they settle down into the world of boring marriage. In the spirit of compromise, Mod agrees to participate in whatever shenanigans Raphael can dream up as long as they do it in the hotel.

This is actually the season finale of an original series from Lust Cinema. The series follows the story of Joey (Jiz Lee) and Maggie as they navigate the sea of their relationship. There are beats in this episode that are built on the foundation of things from previous episodes, and they certainly change the complexity and weight of what audiences will see here. That said, you don’t have to watch the preceding episodes in order to follow the action in “Fragments, Vol. 4: Three’s a Crowd.” I will say that writer/director Madison Young crafts a deeply emotional story that weaves sex into themes of trust, intimacy and self-discovery in a very compelling way, and “Vol. 4” is a great culmination of that journey.

As for the sex — hot damn, it’s a hit! After watching Joey perform a mesmerizing art dance with a skeleton (yes, you read that right), Arabelle invites them back to their hotel room for an adventure. Despite his fatigue, Mickey gets himself up for the game since he promised Arabelle he would — and it’s totally worth it. First, Arabelle has an insane body: tits that don’t stop, a lusciously round ass, and a plethora of tattoos to go along with her pretty face. Lee is also quite pretty and boasts a great ass and perky tits that make you smile when you see them. I liked the fact that Lee asked if the couple would use condoms and gloves with her, and they agreed without pause (nice bit of consent acknowledgment there). And I liked the fact that once the condom was on, Lee rode Mod to the moon. Raphael got plenty of dick as well, and she also got the pleasure of sitting on Mod’s face while Lee humped him.

This is a good project from Madison Young and Lust Cinema. With so many feature studios making the move towards series instead of movies, this is the type of presentation feature that fans will have to adapt to. But this series does a great job in its presentation, and each episode is fully developed and satisfying. Lee does a really nice job as the kickstand that supports Raphael and Mod’s venture into kink, and it’s a role that her character develops into over the course of the series. The sex is stimulating and wonderfully shot, while the narrative climax will leave fans hungry for more.
