Jerkmate's Lili L. on Dropping Beats to Fuel Creator Success

Jerkmate's Lili L. on Dropping Beats to Fuel Creator Success

Long before joining the Jerkmate team as a marketing strategist, Lili L. was the kind of person who always felt like she needed a new challenge.

Ask what she does outside of work, and the answer might include rap battles, poetry slams, triathlons, or singing with her daughter. Her playlists can shift from calming instrumental music to bass-heavy hip-hop depending on whether she's brainstorming creative concepts or pushing projects across the finish line.

Camming brings things back to basics, like real-time interactions with real people. I think that's one of the key reasons the cam industry will continue to thrive.

"I can be a weird person for many," she admits. "I'm all over the place, overenergetic and always looking for new challenges."

That same energy has shaped her career from the very beginning, when Lili realized she wanted a profession that would allow her to build ideas and think outside of the box.

"I love creating," she says. "I studied marketing because I wanted a career that would always keep me creatively stimulated — building campaigns, coming up with fresh ideas that stand out and finding new ways to drive revenue."

After beginning her career at a more traditional agency, however, she quickly realized she was looking for something less conventional.

"I felt that everything was a little too beige for my taste," she says.

When the opportunity to join Jerkmate arose during the pandemic, she immediately saw a chance to put her creative energy to work in a whole new way. The adult industry offered a creative landscape unlike anything she had encountered before, filled with unique challenges, opportunities and audiences.

"It's an industry with very different constraints than most others, which allows for truly over-the-top ideas," she explains. "The adult industry is a fascinating space that is endlessly stimulating from a creative standpoint."

Fueled by Coffee and Creativity

Today, Lili channels her creative energy into one of the fastest-moving corners of the adult industry, where no two days look exactly alike. Depending on the day, she might be jumping between creative brainstorming sessions, project planning meetings, campaign analysis and conversations with creators, all fueled by a steady supply of coffee.

That constant variety is part of what keeps her engaged. At Jerkmate, a significant portion of her work revolves around helping models grow and succeed on the platform.

"We regularly meet with them to get their feedback, understand their goals and explore new ways to increase their visibility while helping them maximize their earnings," she says.

That creator-focused approach is one of the reasons Lili remains passionate about the cam space.

"We're constantly challenged to innovate and find new ways to capture people's attention," she says.

Yet for all the industry's innovation, she believes its greatest strength remains its ability to foster deep human connections.

"Camming brings things back to basics, like real-time interactions with real people," she explains. "I think that's one of the key reasons the cam industry will continue to thrive. As people seek more genuine human interaction, the value of live, authentic connections will only become more important."

Turning Trends Into Opportunity

If creativity drew Lili to the adult industry in the first place, one campaign allowed her to flex those creative muscles on a much larger scale.

"I'm particularly proud of the Jerkmate Ranked campaign, which became a major driver of our brand's growth in 2025," she says.

What made the initiative especially exciting was that the idea emerged organically through memes, jokes and community conversations on social media. Rather than forcing a marketing message into the discussion, the team embraced the humor and energy by creating a tongue-in-cheek "fap-clicking" game inspired by the trend.

The game attracted attention beyond the adult industry, with mainstream creators and influencers like Penguinz0 and SemdenAlt playing the game live on stream. For Lili, the campaign demonstrated the value of organic engagement.

"Once we realized the trend was gaining traction, we developed a strategy to join the conversation authentically, without coming across as overly promotional," she says.

Looking ahead, she believes the same philosophy will continue to shape the future of camming.

She also believes women are playing an increasingly important role in that evolution.

"Women are often recognized for their strong listening skills," she says. "I believe having more women in the industry has had a significant impact on the well-being of the people who work in it."

That commitment to listening extends directly to her work at Jerkmate, where creators are involved in conversations about their visibility, earnings and overall experience on the platform. To Lili, that level of collaboration reflects how much the industry has evolved over the past decade.

"What makes me especially proud is the trust our models place in us," she says. "By listening to them, I genuinely feel I can make a positive difference in their lives."

Life at Full Speed

Whether she's rapping in battles or rapping to the models about how to increase their earnings, Lili approaches nearly everything with the same intensity and enthusiasm.

That same passion continues to shape both her personal and professional ambitions.

Professionally, one of her biggest goals is helping create a campaign so smart, creative and impactful that it earns a Cannes Lion — an achievement she believes would represent a milestone for Jerkmate, and for the adult industry as a whole.

"The idea of contributing to something that breaks barriers and earns recognition on that level is very exciting to me," she enthuses.

Personally, her aspirations are simple but equally as important.

"I just want to keep living life to the fullest," she says. "I tend to approach everything with passion and intensity, whether it's work, sports, creativity or family. I hope to hold on to that energy, curiosity and drive for many years to come."

Breaking Down AI-Powered Moderation and Platform Safety

Adult platforms, including content sites, cam services and dating apps, consistently face a range of high-risk challenges. These include verifying consent, particularly for user-uploaded content, addressing nonconsensual material such as leaks and so-called revenge porn, and ensuring effective age verification and protection for minors. At the same time, platforms must manage content moderation at scale while addressing payment fraud, scams, harassment and user abuse.
