Performing a BDSM Show While Camming

Performing a BDSM Show While Camming

BDSM is indisputably the star fetish of our time. The less taboo it becomes, the more people subscribe to it, making it a great fetish genre to feature in your cam shows. BDSM stands for bondage/discipline, dominance/submission and sadism/masochism. Webcam models practicing BDSM use various methods such as spanking, paddling, gagging, whipping, clamping and even hot wax. So, how can you put on a memorable and profitable BDSM stream?

Words and Visuals Are Your Superpowers

During a BDSM cam show, especially if it’s public, a relevant tip menu will do half of the work for you. Add activities such as ‘spank,’ ‘slap’ or ‘whip,’ for example.

To put on a dominance-themed show, you must keep the main elements of webcam work in mind: words and visuals. Consider using terms like “goddess” or “queen” to refer to yourself, projecting a powerful persona for your viewers. Stay in character and humiliate your audience. On the flip side, if you plan to be submissive, you should be ready to please your audience and do whatever they ask you to do — as long as it’s consensual, of course. Moreover, you should appear nervous and afraid at the same time so that you achieve that “submissive” look, or alternatively supremely excited in a soft manner at fulfilling Daddy’s wishes.

The aesthetic of your show must also be aligned with the theme. If you’re trying to evoke dominance, for example, think of latex outfits, whips, dominatrix heels, etc. There are specific outfits and props for BDSM play, so make sure to include them in any type of BDSM show you do. For submission, you want to use “innocent” clothing or soft, silky threads.

Bondage Cam Shows

Bondage is the act of restraining someone, and there are a couple of ways to feature this in a cam show. One is by tying yourself up on cam, which is an art in itself. This might be hard to achieve if you don’t have someone who can help you untie yourself, so the key is doing knots or binds that you can free yourself from. I recommend practicing carefully before you stream, so you aren’t struggling during the show or, worse yet, doing something unsafe! Also, even if you’re the one tying yourself, you should appear submissive as you do it. You can use nylon, cotton or silk ropes to perform the bondage fetish.

If you’re a camming couple, one person can tie the other and after the submissive one is immobile, the dominant one can whip them, slap them, sit on their face or anything else you’ve consensually come up with. Lastly, you can instruct your viewer to self-bondage themselves. This will work best if you’re having a private session with them, so that you can direct them on how to tie the knots — behind their back or in front of them — or put their own stamp on it. You might also demand they put on handcuffs if they have any.

Sadism and Masochism Cam Shows

Sadism entails achieving sexual gratification through causing pain to others, while masochism is achieving sexual gratification by receiving physical pain or emotional humiliation. As a cam performer, you can choose to be either the sadist or the masochist in your show. Being a masochist means that you will have to take all the humiliation and pain inflicted by your audience. However, as a cam model, you will typically be the sadist.

If the latter is the case, you can ask your viewers to spank, pinch, poke, slap or whip themselves in different areas. The general idea is to ask them to do what you want. For this type of show, communication is crucial, so you should be following up your instructions with questions to ensure that viewers are really “hurting” themselves, enjoying it and doing what they’re told overall. Just make sure they’re not actually harming themselves; you never want to encourage them to do anything unsafe.

Make a BDSM-themed Tip Menu

During a BDSM cam show, especially if it’s public, a relevant tip menu will do half of the work for you. Add activities such as “spank,” “slap” or “whip,” for example, so that users can request the activity directly and pay for it. This way they will take the lead and you won’t have to rack your brains about what to do next; just take care of the aesthetics, and leave the rest to your audience.

Some platforms offer tip menu presets that can be edited at any time, so if you often do BDSM shows, you can have specific tip menus ready for them. Moreover, sites may have verified categories with which you can self-identify, so that you get the target traffic that’s meant for your show. If you want to do BDSM cam work, you can become verified for one of these categories and be featured in them. These categories include BDSM, bondage, slave, cuckold, domination and mistress, among others.

Just remember that the most important part of putting up a great BDSM show is relying on both words and visuals. Infuse your show and performance with the BDSM attitude and aesthetic, and enjoy watching those tokens roll in.
