Tube Sites and Traffic Generation

According to a recent report by PornWatchers.com, a new search engine for adult tube videos, mankind has watched more than 1.2 million years of adult entertainment — more than the total time he has spent on earth — the surprising and unexpected result of the site’s comprehensive analysis of a pair of leading tube portals.

The report, which analyzed the top tube site platforms containing an aggregate 735,000 porn movies, found that these sites produce an immense amount of web traffic, generating more than 93 billion views between them; with an average number of views per video of 127,720.

Perhaps grudgingly, many adult website operators are turning to tube sites today for the vital traffic that they thrive upon.

With an average playtime of 11 minutes per video, the report notes that users could view 16 years worth of porn movies in a row — without watching a single video twice.

PornWatchers.com employs unique filtering features and search options allowing it to access what it claims is the world’s largest porn repository, quickly and efficiently.

“Before PornWatchers.com, porn search was driven by inaccurate and time-consuming full text searches which required that videos have the information you we’re looking for in the title,” states a company spokesperson. “With PornWatchers.com this is not necessary anymore and thousands of hidden videos can be found and filtered at an unseen level of detail.”

PornWatchers.com notes the astronomical growth of tube sites, from approximately 150 videos in 2006, to today’s powerhouses which add 22,000 new videos every month. The site also analyzed 158 million ratings from users, finding an average 63 percent of these votes were positive reviews; additionally, more than 7.5 million viewer comments have been posted under the studied tube site videos to date.

“Watching porn online seems far away from being a niche nowadays,” PornWatchers concludes, adding that “It is done in every social class.”

While these figures may seem daunting to adult content marketers, the vast size of the global audience and its voracious appetite for new material means the tube site traffic pie is big enough for everyone — if you can elbow your way up to the crowded table.
