LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has set an April 18 release date for its Brad Armstrong-directed apocalyptic drama "Countdown." A three minute safe-for-work trailer can be seen here.
Set five days before a massive asteroid the size of Arizona obliterates the Earth, "Countdown" follows "several groups of people as they spend their final days preparing for the inevitable. From the President and his Cabinet to the everyday man on the street, everyone prepares for the end in different ways."
Toplining the film are Wicked exclusives Jessica Drake, Kaylani Lei and Alektra Blue. Rounding out the cast are India Summer, Misty Stone, Dana DeArmond, Lezley Zen, Seth Gamble, Michael Vegas, Bill Bailey, Jack Lawrence, Derrick Pierce, Xander Corvus, Rocco Reed and Randy Spears in a non-sex role.
"Countdown" will be made available in a special two-disc DVD set.
