Pink Visual Gets Ready for Google TV with PinkVisual.tv

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Pink Visual is gearing up for its Google TV-optimized site for launch directly following the release of the first Google TV units to hit shelves in the U.S.

The company said PinkVisual.tv, the newest entry in Pink Visual’s product portfolio, will launch on Oct. 25, the day after Sony’s Internet TV arrives at stores.

The release of Pink Visual’s new site follows a pattern the company established with the launch of its iPad-optimized site, which launched several days before the iPad was available in the U.S.

“We’ve established that there’s real value in being first-to-market when new technologies hit and we move quickly to ensure that we’re part of that first wave of adult companies to target the latest consumer technologies,” said Liam Colins, director of business development for Pink Visual.

“We also believe that Google TV is extremely well positioned to be a major player in the web-enabled television space, making it all the more important that we are prepared to serve up Google TV-friendly content from day one.”

The company said PinkVisual.tv is designed to work with large screen technology and will allow users to easily navigate the site using their Internet TV remote control.

Access to the site is $24.95 per month or $39.95 for a 90-day subscription. Consumers also have the option of purchasing a 1-day preview for $1.

Colins said that Pink Visual is anticipating a rapid expansion of the Internet-capable TV market and is keeping a close eye on the competition that looms for Google’s new service.

“Just as the popularity of the iPhone has driven the development of the smartphone market and inspired many competitors to develop advanced mobile devices, we expect Google TV to spawn competition in the Internet TV space in the months ahead,” Colins said.

“The great part for us is that we don’t have to pick the winners of the tech market share competition; we just prepare to deliver content as effectively as possible to every device and let the chips fall where they may.”
