LoveHoney Launches U.K. Sex Toy Awards

SOMERSET, England — Online retailer LoveHoney has announced its U.K. Sex Toy Awards, to be selected by a panel of 20 volunteers.

"Unlike most award ceremonies which hand out gongs based on the whims of a self-appointed panel of so-called experts, the first ever U.K. Sex Toy Awards will be judged by the people whose opinions matter most – U.K. women," LoveHoney head buyer Bonny Hall said. "It will be the first time that women have been asked to decide which is Britain's best toy."

The 20 judges will be sent the 10 top sex toys — valued at more than $585 — to test. After a month of testing, the judges will review and rate each of their ten toys in detail.

The winning sex toys will be announced in the September issue of U.K women's magazine Company.

Judges should be willing to be interviewed and photographed, and must be residents of the U.K.
