The sites of CuteLucie, CuteKim, VanillaDeville and Princess Cameron are OhMobile’s debut offerings, with MBlow and MSluts soon to follow, according to the company, which relays its service via phone, PDA or any other handheld device with wireless connectivity.
Responding to consumer concerns over the likelihood of cellphone hacks such as the one that happened to Paris Hilton, OhMobile assures customers that personal information is stored on a backend server, rather than locally, and all transactions are transmitted using 128-bit encryption.
OhMobile has been tested using more than 200 wireless devices, and a company representative told XBiz that there is no restriction on wireless carriers.
”I am extremely excited to launch my mobile site,” said Vanilla DeVille. ”I have been considering launching a mobile presence for myself for some time, and only OhMobile has the services, infrastructure and strategic partnerships to corner this new adult market.”
Mobile adult content and the broadened use of wireless devices have been fixtures of European wireless usage for the past five years, with only a handful of stateside companies jumping into the pool.
Jason, OhMobile’s president, said the service has been months in the making but it is now ready to offer partnerships to any site ready to “go mobile.”
